However, we believe in balance. 
Too much of something, as well as the lack of the good nutrients and bacteria can lead to nutritional deficiencies, low energy levels and a compromised immune system.

Balanced Meal Guide
PROTEIN
- Choose organic or grass fed, when possible. 
- This should only take up only 1/4 of your plate per meal

CARBOHYDRATES, GRAINS AND STARCHES
- Opt for more complex substitutes to white rice like brown rice, quinoa or Adlai which naturally have lower sugar/ glucose content. 
- This should only take up only 1/4 of your plate per meal

FRUITS AND VEGETABLES
- Learn about seasonal eating and opt for the fruits which thrive and grow best in the current season, where certain fruits and vegetables are in its best quality.
- This should only take up 1/2 of your plate per meal

QUALITY FAT
- Oil, butters, fruits like coconut, olives and avocado, fatty fish and dairy contain good fatty acids like Omega 3, Omega 6 and enzymes that nourish our body. 
- Cook and incorporate these healthy fats in your snacks and meals.
